-Mary’s husband John together with children Laurence, Elaine, Breda & Eoin, brothers Michael, Jerry, Conor and extended family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the overwhelming numbers of relatives, neighbours and friends who sympathised with us on our recent sad berevement.
Grateful thanks is extended to all those who attended the Rosary, Removal, Funeral Mass, Burial and to those who sent mass cards, letters of sympathy and generous donations. We wish to acknowledge our wonderful neighbours and friends for the compassion and generosity shown during Mary’s illness and following our sad loss.
Sincere gratitude to Fr. Breen and Fr. Tierney for their support in recent months and throughout the funeral. Thanks also to Canon Eugene Everard, Canon Liam Ryan, Fr. Purcell, Fr. T Fogarty, Fr. Cunningham, Fr. J Fogarty, Fr. Egan & Fr. Brennan who concelebrated the funeral Mass, choir & musicians who greatly enhanced the meaning of the mass, grave diggers for preparing Mary’s final resting place with such care, sacristan and all those who supplied & assisted with refreshments & traffic management in Clareen. A special word of thanks to O’Dwyer’s Undertakers for their professionalism and thoughtfulness.
Sincere appreciation to the staff of Cork University Hospital and Nenagh General Hospital, especially Carmel Sheedy. Also the multi disciplinary staff of Milford hospice and all who cared for Mary during her illness. We are deeply indebted to the incredible home care team of nurses & carers, especially Isobel, Marie, Marion and Joanne, GP Dr. Kevin DeLargy, public health nurses Louise & Sarah, night nurse Maggie and staff of Sammon’s chemist.
As it is not possible to thank everybody individually we hope that you will accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Months Mind Mass for Mary will be celebrated on Saturday 4th September at 8p.m. in Ballycahill Church.
