OWENS, EAMONN Ardline, Ballyfarnon, Boyle, Co. Sligo
August 28th 2009
On the first anniversary of his death, Eamonn's wife Bernadette, his sons, daughters and his sister Celine, daughters in law, sons in law and grandchildren wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us at our time of sad loss. Thank you to all who called to the house, who attended his funeral on both days, sent Mass cards, Perpetual certificates and Enrolments, floral tributes and letters of sympathy.
A special thanks to all our neighbours and friends who helped in so many ways. We would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of Sligo General Hospital who cared for Eamonn so well during his time there. Also a special word of thanks to his G.P. Dr. Cogan. Our sincer thanks to the members of An Garda Siochana for their friendship and support to Eamonn during his years of service and for the special escort given to him to his final resting place in Aughrim.
Special thanks to Fr. Brian Conlon for his thoughtful celebration of Eamonn's life and support and prayers for the family, assisted by Fr. Tom O'Connor, Fr. J.J. Gannon, Fr. Sean Gildea, Fr. Frank McGauran. We also wish to thank Fr. Donal Hannon and Fr. John Carroll for calling personally to our home.
To Tommy Shivnan, Funeral Director thank you for your professional, dignified and thoughtful handling of the funeral arrangements. We also wish to express our gratitude to the gravediggers who prepared Eamonn's grave so beautifully.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
Eamonn's first anniversary Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Geevagh on 11th September at 8pm.
