Tinnamona, Callan,
Co. Kilkenny
Died 14th May 2010
The family of the late Paddy Clancy would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. To all those who called to our home, attended the rosary, the removal, funeral mass and burial, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, and floral tributes, we thank you all.
A special word of thanks to nurses Claire McCarron and Catherine Quinlan who were so kind to him during his illness. Our deepest gratitude to Fr.Dalton, who visited Dad regularly and looked after his spiritual needs. Our sincere thanks to the Eucharist ministers who brought Communion when Dad was unable to attend Mass. We will always remember the kindness of his cousins and his wide circle of friends for all the phone calls, visits and the support and help they gave us in caring for Dad. We wish to express our gratitude to our priests, Fr. W Dalton, Fr. W Purcell and Fr. P O'Halloran and to the large number of priests who attended at the removal, funeral mass and burial. To the organist, choir, the servers arid the sacristan, who all helped to make the ceremony such a fitting farewell to Dad. We deeply appreciated the guards of honour provided by Mount Carmel, John Lockes Hurling Club and Callan Golf Club, it was a wonderful tribute to Dad. To the large number of helpers who did such a great job in catering for the many people who came to the house, a very big thank you to one and all. Our sincere thanks to Pat Murphy Undertaker and his staff for all the help, advice and sensitivity shown to us at this very sad time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation for the great support you have been to us throughout this difficult period.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions, spiritual and temporal.
A Memorial Mass for Dad will be celebrated in Westcourt, Callan on Monday 16th August at 7.30pm.
