MARY MURPHY (Aughamore Lower, Moyne) Mary's daughter Maura, sons J.P., Joseph and Colm, sister Kathleen, brother Peter and extended family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all who sympathised and supported them on their recent bereavement. We would like to thank all who travelled long distances, called to our home, made phone calls, sent Mass cards and cards of sympathy, floral tributes and who attended Mary's funeral Mass. A very sincere thank you to our very good neighbours and friends who helped out at our home, stewarded traffic at house and church. Our grateful appreciation is extended to Mary's carers. To the Public Health Nurses who have called and attended to Mary with great dignity for the past fifteen years. To all the members of Longford Palliative Care Team and to the many great carers who helped us look after Mary at home for the last three months, we are forever grateful. To the very good neighbours and friends who called to visit Mary, keep her company and have the chat with her in this time, your kindness is acknowledged. Thank you to Fr. Sean O'Dowd for carrying out prayer at our home and for the delivery of a beautiful funeral Mass and Fr. Eamon Corkery, Fr. Tadgh Kenny and Fr. Pat McManus for concelebrating Mass. Thank you to the altar servers and to the musicians for their beautiful singing and music. Thank you to Peter Dillon for carrying out his undertaking duties in a very professional and dignified manner, to the gravediggers for preparing Mary's final resting place and to Eamon and Philomena Gray for providing refreshments. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Mary's Month's Mind Mass will take place on Friday 23rd July at 8p.m. in St. Mary's Church, Legga.
