(1st Anniversary) In loving memory of a dear Mother and grandmother Brigid who died on 21st July, 2009 R.I.P.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with Me".
A wonderful heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
God knew that you were suffering,
God knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
We can't have old days back
When we were all together.
But secret tears and loving thoughts
Will be with us forever.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
