SEAN (JUNIOR) KELLY (1st Anniversary In loving memory our much loved son Seán, Esker Lower, Killoe. We saw you first the 9th of July,
When they said you have a boy.
We waited so long to hear those words,
So you became our joy.
And every time your birthday came,
We saw you growing tall.
And then you started off to school,
In just no time at all.
Then lorries became your life,
And in your treasure box,
Were lorries of all types.
And often when you'd come back home,
From being out on a date,
You'd whisper at my bedroom door,
Mom are you still awake.
Then we'd chat a little while,
Before you'd go to bed.
And I would often breathe a prayer,
God Bless my son I said.
We saw you last the end of April,
When you said Mom don't you worry,
I'll be ok I'll see you on Sunday,
But you never more came back.
Our hearts still broke in two,
We'll never hear you whisper more,
Mom are you still awake.
Yet we thank God for every joy,
For all the love and fun,
And locked up in our treasure box,
Are memories of our precious son,
Our pride and joy. Loved and missed always, your heartbroken Mom, Dad.
Anniversary Mass on Saturday 1st May at 8 o'clock in Ennybegs Church, Killoe
