Kearney (nee Purcell) Rita (Sundown Lodge Carrowmore Cratloe Co Clare.) First Anniversary -- Deeply loved and greatly missed by her husband Paul, daughter Deirdre, sons Paul and Ciaran her Daughters in Law Carol, Lynn, grandchildren and sisters. The Family would like to thank all our friends, neighbours, work colleagues, tennis and swimming communities who sent messages of sympathy, flowers and Mass Cards and those who came to our home, attended the removal service and funeral mass. A special thanks to her great work colleagues at the Mid West Regional Hospital and the caring staff of the Oncology Department. Sincere heartfelt thanks to the kind medical and nursing staff at Burkitt’s Ward St James Hospital who gave Rita excellent care. Thanks to Sr. Joyce for your spiritual support. Our Local Public Health Team, The Intervention Team, The Milford Hospice Team and the Night Nurses who stayed with Rita during the night so as that she could be at peace at her home in Carrowmore. Thank you to Fr Liam our PP for the lovely funeral ceremony.
The Kearney Family would like to thank our neighbours who in keeping with the old local Cratloe tradition prepared Rita’s grave and final resting place.
Mass will be offered for Rita on Palm Sunday 28th March at 10.00am at the Little Church Sixmilebridge.
