The sisters of the late Canon Brendan Connellan, who died on December 29, wish to thank all their relatives, friends and parishioners of St. Mary's Parish for their support during the time of our bereavement. A special word of appreciation to Fr. Tony Mullins, chief celebrant of the Mass and to Canon Brendan's classmates, Fr. Con Collins and Fr. James Neville who assisted him and to his fellow priests who concelebrated. We are grateful to Canon Donagh O'Malley for his organisation and participation in the liturgy and his kindness and attention to Canon Brendan since he came to St. Mary's Parish. Special thanks too to Fr. Tom Mangan for his homily, and to the parents and senior choirs for their inspiring and devotional music. Gratitude to Griffin Undertakers for their kindness and professionalism. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and carers at Milford House Care Centre, St. John's Hospital and Mid-Western Regional Hospital. Sincere thanks to all who attended the removal, Mass and burial, those who sent Mass Cards, messages of sympathy and floral tributes. As it would be impossible to thank each one please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
