To Alison and Roy,many thanks for your kind words regarding my father. Alison I can vaguely remember your visit from the States all those years ago,but don't want to go into too much detail in case I get it wrong! My Dad was very proud of his music collection and was only too happy to show it to people.He lived for his music and his family.Roy, my Dad always had a fond affection for Preston and it's people and often spoke to me of the time's he spent there. His influence drove me to be a part-time North End supporter for a while although these days my support is entrusted in a team from Merseyside,i'll let you guess which one! It's great to hear from people that still wish our family well since my Fathers passing and on their behalf I thank you both.
