WALSHE
MARY
(nee Trait)
Rathbeagh
Ballyragget
Co. Kilkenny
Mary's family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss.
Thanks to all who attended the rosary, removal, funeral mass and burial. Thanks to all who called to the house and those who offered expressions of sympathy through telephone, mass cards, and floral tributes. A special thanks to all our kind family members, neighbours and friends who helped in so many ways during Mam's illness and for their continued support. Thanks to the medical team who looked after Mam in the Bons Secours and St. Luke's Kilkenny, Dr. Kennedy, Ann Brennan and the Carer's Olive and Claire. May God reward you for all your loving care. Thanks to Sr. Margaret Mary, Fr. O'Farrell, Fr. McEvoy, Fr. Condon, Fr. Henry, Fr. Jones and Fr. Dalton who attended Mam during her final days and concelebrated the requiem mass. Thanks to Murty Kennedy funeral director, sacristan, alter servers and grave diggers. Sincere gratitude to all who helped with readings and a special thank you to Nicola Young for the beautiful music and singing which made the funeral mass such a fitting tribute to a very special and much loved lady with a great devotion to Our Lady. Thanks to Lisdowney GAA Club, Seamus Ring and neighbours who helped with parking. Thanks also for the use of Freshford community hall. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and the holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.
Months mind mass for Mary will be celebrated in Clontubrid on Sunday the 13th of December at 9.30am.

  • Mary - rest in peace

My sympathies to Mary's family. We were good friends and fellow inmates in St Lukes in Rathgar.

Im very sorry for your loss. Mary was a lovely person and I've thought of her often overy the past few years. She had great wit and serenity.

    Love

    Mary from Longford
