Kearney (Fourth Anniversary & Birthday Remembrance)
Treasured memories of a dear brother, Seamus (Shay) Kearney, late of 2 Cronan Lawn, Shannon, Co. Clare and The Croom Bar, Croom, Co. Limerick whose fourth anniversary occurred on October 25, 2009, and his 55th birthday on November 3, 2009. When I look upon a photograph,
From not so long ago -
A picture of my beloved big brother,
The memories start to flow.
The times we shared that made me laugh,
Or times that made me cry;
We thought we would grow old together,
Through the years we thought it was true,
But time had come to all,
And my big brother had to go.
He passed away, he went to sleep,
Now God has him at His side -
I know he watches over me,
Making sure that I'm alright,
But I can't help feeling that God
Is the lucky one right now.
Missed and loved by your sister Maresa; brother-in-law, Gerard; nieces Caoimhe and Aoibhinn. Since you've been gone,
What we have left are the memories
We share of that cheeky grin.
Since you've gone,
Nothing's been the same;
We have all carried on,
But not quite the same way.
Little things remind us of the way you were;
Since you've been gone,
We know that you have gone.
Fondly remembered by your brother Bobby; nephews Ken and Jamie.
