The Longford Leader is inviting readers to pay tribute to baby Caroline Hannifin who died so tragically on Tuesday, August 25.
Caroline was just 18 months old and she is survived by her heartbroken parents Caroline and Patrick, her sisters and her extended family, friends and all those who loved her.
A number of readers have already logged messages of support and condolence for the Hannifin family to the Longford Leader through Facebook, and as a result of this, we have set up a tribute site especially dedicated to Caroline’s memory.

Your story is so tragicHearts left broken in two.
But the times you left behind
Describes the perfect you.
Judging by your pictures
You brought magic everywhere
With that cheeky little smile, and beautiful brown hair.
I cant even imagine what ur mam is goin tru
As a mam i know that, i would really miss you too
I hope that God realises, the pain hes caused down here
By taken you from your daddy
He just hopes your somewhere near.
He took you from your sisters
Who didnt have much time
To get to know the little girl
Taken in her prime.
God we will never know
Why you take the little ones
Or understand the pain you cause
Taking Mothers baby daughters and their baby sons.
Please bless Caroline and Patrick
Get them through their waking day
Let them know their baby Caroline, with the angels, will be ok

You'll never be forgotten and always loved by your Mama, Daddy and beautiful sisters and anyone else who was lucky enough to have met you darling.

I don't think I've ever seen a face as pretty or captivating in all my life. Even when she scowled her eye's still sparkled and she still looked angelic and gorgeous.You will never ever be forgottten Baby Caroline and you will always feel pure love from your Mama, Daddy and 4 beautiful sisters and always be missed by everyone who was luck enough to have met you.
