Whelan (Birthday Remembrance) In loving memory of Mary Agnes Whelan, late of 102 Hyde Road Limerick, whose birthday occurs on August 3rd. Alone but never quite alone,
I face an empty chair
But sometimes in the silence
I imagine you are there.
My companion for so many years,
No longer here with me,
And yet in some mysterious way
You keep me company.
It's sad to walk the road alone
Instead of side by side,
But to all there comes a moment
When the ways of life divide.
You gave me years of happiness
Then came the sorrow & tears
But you left me beautiful memories
I will treasure through the years.
Always remembered by your loving husband Thomas.
Our mother was a lady
Just over five feet tall
But her heart was as big as a mountain
Her arms had room for us all.
She was our bridge over troubled waters
The wind beneath our wings
But now our loving mother
Is a candle in the wind.
Sadly missed by your son Thomas and partner Tony.
The world is full of wonderful things,
Beautiful flowers and butterfly wings,
Thousands of birds weaving patterns in flight,
Millions of stars decorating the night.
But if we search the whole world over, one shore to another,
We will never find a treasure, as precious as our mother.
Sadly missed by your daughter Elizabeth.
No special day is needed for us to think of you,
To us you were someone special,
And we thought the world of you,
We think of you in silence,
We talk about you too,
We have some wonderful memories Nana,
But we wish we still had you.
Sadly missed by your loving grandchildren, Carrie, Melissa , Gerard Tommy, Charlene, Lee, great grandchildren Tyler and Damien
