Sheehy (9th Anniversary) In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Breda Sheehy, late of 110, Oliver Plunkett Street, Limerick who died on April 26th, 2000. Mass will be offered on Saturday, April 25th at 7.30pm in St. Mary's Church. O sweet gentle mother,
O my dearest one,
There's nobody to turn to,
When things go wrong.
The world is funny but I am sad,
I lost the only good friend I had.
O sweet gentle mother,
O my dearest loved one,
Always near with a helping hand,
And a loving kiss.
As time goes by that's what I miss,
If I could reach my hand to the sky,
I'd touch yours just to say "Hi Mam".
The last time I touched you,
I had to say goodbye.
O precious loved one,
Sometimes I struggle to go on.
The only one who said be strong,
Never a bad word to say about anyone.
My devoted friend has left,
Yes my mother is gone.
Love you always Mam, from your loving daughter Mary and son-in-law Gerry. There is a beautiful path,
In a wonderful land,
Where God and our nana walk hand in hand.
How lucky is God to have such a treasure,
Take care of her Lord forever and ever.
Gentle Jesus up above give our nana a great big hug.
Love you Nana from your grandchildren Noel, Geraldine, Julie, Tracey, Alex, Rebecca, great-grandchildren Jordan, Tyler, Dean, Yasmine, Courtney, Mia, Madison and Alysha and their partners, Brian, Stephen (Macca), Eva and Dale. Sweet is the sleep that heals all pain,
I would not wake you to suffer again,
God took your hand, we had to part,
He eased your pain, but broke our hearts,
No matter how life changes Mam,
No matter what we do,
We will always feel blessed and honoured,
To have had a Mam like you.
