The family of the late John Shields would like to extend their gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. To all those who phoned, sent cards and messages, floral tributes, attended the removal from St Joseph’s Hospital and called at the house during the wake, and attended the funeral. We would like to thank James and Anne Mc Corley and the staff of The Gables Nursing Home, Antrim for the care and attention shown to John over the past few years. Also John Mc Corley for this regular visits to John. Thanks to the kind friends and neighbours who were a great source of comfort and assistance during the wake and funeral. We would like to thank Gerard Mc Cool undertaker, the management and Staff of St Joseph;s Hospital the gravediggers, and the pallbearers. Thanks to Fr. Patsy Arkinson, for his attendance at the wake celebrating the funeral mass. Thanks to the choir for the music and those who participated in the funeral mass. To the Heeney Family and staff of the U Drop Inn for the funeral dinner. A special thanks to those who travelled to be with the family. A mass will be offered for your intentions.

Months mind mass in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill on Saturday 14th March @ 8pm.
