-In loving memory of Fred Diamond, Templetuohy, Thurles, who died on the 24th January, 2008.
January comes with sad regret
It brings a day we will never forget
Today we remember and feel so sad
For Fred we miss and wish we still had
So many people loved you
And that makes us feel so proud
You were that special kind of person
Who stood out from the Crowd
Our world was really shattered
But it made us realise
Just what a wonderful person you were
In so many peoples eyes
A million times Ive needed you
A million times Ive cried
If my love could have saved you
You never would have died
My heartache and my sadness
might not always show
People say it lessens
But how little do they know
They say I have my memories
But they dont understand
I cannot kiss a memories cheek
Nor hold a memories hand
But if memories keep us together
Then we are never far apart
For I will always keep you in my mind
And forever in my heart
